My relatives (father's cousin) used to live in Tbilisi, so I'm somewhat familiar with the Georgian cuisine (chicken tabaka, chahohbili, satsivi etc). It's somewhat spicey, but very tasteful! I like it! There's a cooking thread was just opened, perhaps you could share some of the recipes over there.
BTW, I think Kinzmarauli is not a bad wine, not bat at all...

Very interesting Gagarini. I've seen Georgian script, it looks like something very classical and ancient. Sort of like the Armenian, even though you're both unrelated.
Is the Georgian language very pure, or does it have any relative languages? What about Abkhazian? (I know you hate them lol...just curious if you have similar roots)

Well what I said is a fact... Some years ago oldest sample was found in Iran... by later studies made that conclusion...
Well at least there is about 2-3 thousand year Wine tradition.. and I think its enough time to form one ofthe Best Wine cultures

I was trying to buy some Georgian wine in order to support you during Russias embargo. But to my surprise no Georgian wine is sold in Sweden!
Sorry guys I couldn't log in for a while, besides I'm not quite familiar about "multiqout" function, so I'll try to address all opinins on by one...
1. About the thing that all Caucasian Dances ar the same, this is just absurd... This is pure Georgian... and none have that ... of course there might be something slightly similar withChechens for example.. but still its unique.

Igal - Thanks for the comment... as I see you live in Isral.. you know OUR relationship Its many hundred years now) I'm not good in cooking but I'll try to find some recipes in english... but It takes some skills to cook SATSIVI for example and only recipe won't help <Also try KHINKALI, KHACHAPURI.. etc. when you have chance... yeah wine is great... you have some good wine as I know too..

BUT WE COULD WITHSTAND THE BLOCKADE... also only thing they had left was GAS pipeline...and now we are substituting Russian GAS with AZERBAIJANIAN so...

We happily lived together for a long time, It is undivided territory of Georgia.. so Abkhazia will NEVER beome another country Its unevitable... again Huge role played by russians there (They fought against us during the war) Also Russians were involved in Karabakh case.. but I m not that familiar with that case...
Now there want to use KOSOVO model on Georgia (I mean russians) But I hope everything resolves peacefully
