In all seriousness, I heard from people who just came back from Georgia that it's a wonderful country.
Food, wine & scenery are all great, people are super friendly and hospitable. 90% of the country is safe and there are no traces of war.
    what about nightlife ?

I am planning a trip to Georgia, and im lost i know nothing about the country. I just found out that theire food is gr8, their wine is perfect, lots of Museums and many adventurous activities. Any one here from Georgia? Any info might be useful.
From what I've read Tiblisi is a bit of a hot spot. Lots of restaurants, museums, clubs, bars, etc (lot's to do). Also there is a lot of old buildings mixed in with some unique newer ones if you're at all interested in architecture.

Before you go I suggest you read this article. It's titled "Georgia In The Time of Misha" and it discusses all the new world changes the young President has made and how he has attempted to blend them with Georgia's old world culture.

    Hope it helps.

I just noticed this thread. Are you still going to visit our country? Or may be you've already been here? Thanks to other members for introducing my country in such a decent way.

First of all I can assure you, that the war is over and there is no danger any more so don't be afraid. Secondly, I absolutely agree with Geof that the food and people are great in Georgia. Well at least all the people after visiting our country and tasting our food say that :D.

I don't know if it looks nice, but what I definately know is that this food is very tasty :D

If you are interested in dance and music. I can give you some links to check out our dancing and singing ability. It's Georgian traditional dances and folk

It's Georgian Dance With Daggers, I think it's a great performance, have a look ;)
    and also

As of singing, check out Hamlet Gonashvili and his voice. It's Gergian folk

There are a lot of historical and ancient places museums, churches and monasteries dating back to 5th-6th centuries here are some:

Here are some photos of Tbilisi as well

and the last thing I can say is, welcome to Georgia and have a good time :) as Georgians are well known with their kindness and hospitality as Geof already mentioned here ;) If you're not already in Georgia :D
