Finally got around to finishing season 4 of Fargo... It sucked. Huge drop in quality compared to the first 3 seasons.

Fargo is one of my favorites shows ever probably top 5 for the first 2 seasons but season 4 just didn't hit at all.

I took 4 attempts to watch it. Was painful which is surprising considering the cast and subject. You would of thought something gang and Mafia related would of been more exciting.

Sounds more Black Country to me, as someone from the West Midlands. Like it's more exaggerated. The guy who plays Finn is actually from Birmingham. Cillian Murphy's accent isn't too bad. But it's not like there is one particular Brummie accent, you can go 5 miles any direction and it changes.

Thing is Brummie is pretty understated to talk, not very expressive, doesn't translate well to TV. Also it's very under-represented as it's one of the most disliked accents, so there aren't many examples to copy.

Jasper Carrott the comedian is an example of a normal spoken accent, in this skit he talks normally and then puts on an exaggerated Brummie accent for the laughs:

Brummie tends to be 1, scouse is a bit Marmite, some hate it and others not.
