I don't care about the director doing the Shield before. Like Last Resort because it's good and entertaining.

I liked Jericho, but don't see much resemblance, I see more Jericho likeness in Revolution(apocalyptic) . Which I so far find between bland to lame.

I expected a lot more with Cripke and Favrou behind it.

Would have to agree with the Razzmatazz on this one - Last Resort has mainstream network show written all over it. Not that it's bad or anything but is nowhere near the level of shows one will find these days not just on HBO but AMC, Show, etc. with ease.
Dynamic and promising beginning and can keep the attention but can easily see it go out of steam within 10 episodes or so and either get cancelled by the end of the 1st season or linger on mostly due to the lack of better alternatives in ABC's usually rather vanilla line up.
Still, could well turn out to be a good show by the standards the big 4 networks have set ... don't think it would go above that though.

I'm just in it for the ride. I enjoyed the first two episodes a lot, i like the cast, the plot so far and the captain of the boat is just too awesome.

I was laughing my ass off during the second episode when they got the special ops in the kill zone, XO goes out and start with his "we're all americans" . 3 sec later, "shit it's Spetznaz"

Watched pilot of Arrow, enjoyable enough and quite positive for a pilot, except the bad voice over, and lending from Batman Begins a bit (though this is a good thing), its pretty much hit the marks it needed to hit, dark tone (for that network especially), little mystery, and quite awesome action potential with the lead.

I recommend giving Justified a shot. i had seen the first 10 episodes or so a couple of years back but couldn't follow the show after that and didn't think it was worth dealing with downloads and such ... maybe was in the wrong state of mind back then
Gave it another shot these days and really liked it - a hidden gem, one of the best shows out there, imo.
