based on some rotten tomatoes suggestions, i started to watch
the woman in the wall with my gf. after like 1.5 episodes i cannot tell too much about the series, but the background story is some twisted disturbing shit. it's loosely based on some real events, those magdalene laundries did exist in ireland:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magdalene_Laundries_in_Ireland never heard of it. it just further proves that religion can be cancer, and by today's standards, people in general behaved unacceptably to each other throughout history.
my only takeaway so far is that i love what ruth wilson is doing on the screen. she was good in luther, the affair and she delivers as the traumatized sleepwalker in these series too. other than that, it's a small town murder story, probably nothing to write home about
