So far I watched only two. And I loved it. It's slower pace but I enjoyed every second of it. It's really, really good in my books. Totally enjoying it.

Liked the setting and the atmosphere, but yeah, not as good as i expected it to be.

Really? It even surpassed my expectations (and I already was pretty hyped), because of how grounded it was and how considerate everything was set up and followed through while I was expecting more excess in terms of supernatural occurences and less of character-driven, slow misery porn. Thank god Ridley Scott threw his name and influence into the ring to enable proper cold drama, untarnished by 21th century diseases.

I think people appreciate it less because it's more slow-paced and without big bangs people are used to nowadays. I watched 7 episodes so far and I think it's great.

I love slow paced shows I just struggle to think what is the point for this one. The dialogues are nothing special and the supernatural thing is becoming repetitive without being different or building up to something. I don't know if that changes. I don't ask for more supernatural thing btw, just pointing that out.

I still find it good even if I focused on the bad above. Like Dai said I also love the setting and atmosphere

The dialogues are nothing special

Excellent to make viewers bond with characters whose suffering really hit home in this show and I am normally not the empathic type of watcher. The protagonists were very well composed with clear motives and most went through more development than an expedition type show would call for. I was soaking up every moment of that show and now, being through with it for 3-4 days I am missing it

I think it's just more about the survival and human nature in general, rather than the supernatural aspect of it. It reminds me of Alian in way of how they don't show the creature much but they create the atmosphere in a rather good way.

Not that I think how supernatural part is awesome, but in my books it's in the second plan next to survival -- which I absolutely love in the show. Also the human nature, I found it great, unlike Walking Dead where it looked way too meh IMO.

Watching Netflix's The Keepers. Honestly what the fuck is this? Their entire case is based on 'recovered memories' from what is obviously a nutjob (woman claims to have been raped by a dozen of priests, policemen, a local politician, her uncle, basically every American man alive in the sixties).

And the friggin' New York Times calls this woman a hero. I can't believe my eyes.

And then you read the actual court decisions and the judge literally states recovered memories are bullcrap and the case is dismissed. I don't get it. How are they still allowed to make these claims?

Most disgraceful piece of TV I've seen in years.
