I still think the Ezio trilogy is where AC peaked.

The other games had their moments, but Assassins Creed 2 / Brotherhood / Revelations are fucking magical. I recently re-played the entire trilogy and those games have aged really well.

combat isn't as good as the newer games, but the story and atmosphere are great.

I personally like the newer games like odyssey. i had so much fun playing the game.

I've only played 2 AC games. Odyssey was bright & so much fun. Valhalla was dark & grim. Felt the winter in Norway through the screen.

Anyone play Anno 1800?

Bought it and played a little. I need to do some research into how to get an economy going because there's clearly some aspect of this that I'm missing, just haven't had the time to devote to it.

Yeah might well be. Exploring the worlds has often been my favourite part of the games, love the "history" and design work. Subject matter is important to me, they are all very interesting, just that I probably most enjoy the eras of Viking England and golden age of piracy. Maybe least interested in Victorian London.

Use the money you start with to buy iron beams and claim as many islands as possible. Populate the island & provide what they need & the money will be rolling in. The statistics page is your friend.
