I was secretly hoping that Juve would get involved with this kid once the transfer market opened, but I didn't want to get my hopes up at all.

I would love it if they got him.

High risk/high reward transaction, but could turn out to be the type of purchase where he becomes world class in a couple of years.

In all honesty, this is exactly the kind of deals we should have been making at least once a summer since we got promoted. Good thing is isn't going to go for the price of Sanchez...at least not yet. :superhapp

I would rather have someone a little more experienced, especially if Pasquato is the alternative.
Shut the fuck up, Kyle and live a little. Geez, have some balls and take a risk. Sorta like you playing Krasic as a striker in FIFA...look how well that worked out for you. :D:D

I don't know why you would even make such a comparison. Unfortunately for us the opposition isn't being controlled by you.

i ve also expressed the same opinion and the enthusiasts reacted...
Because you're negative about everything.

The main reason he wasn't a regular starter for Chelsea is because they owned 2 of the world's best CBs, Terry and Carvalho. A thigh injury last season prevented him to become a sure starter. Poor performances have nothing to do with Alex not starting most of the matches for Chelsea. He wasn't poor at all.
Terry isn't one of the best in the world.

He's better than Carragher, but - similar to Carragher - his status at the club makes him undroppable as much as his ability.

i agree with you.

we should get perotti or vargas as starter option

however, others have a valid point considering his talent, so if we indeed sign 3 players...
... i hope it would be vargas/perotti, alex, and this kid

I love the pessimists. The best thing about them is they can always say "I told you so" and if not they can blame everything else on luck.
