EA Sports are not that bad, while creators of WE series (Konami IIRC) seem to be great too. Rockstar games aren't bad either.

I think EA sports and Electroinc Arts are not very good, can´t really think of any "killer" games they´ve had recently.
Anecdote: I went jogging 30 minutes ago and I ran by their Norwegian HQ, didn´t know it was there. Wonder what they actually do there?

Konami makes good games, Capcom has had a few great games, Nintendo also has made some quality stuff. Most of my knowledge of game makers come from my SNES days, don`t know anything too recent.

For developers, I would say Lionhead studios, Bungie, Working Designs

that molyneux is quite the genius,isn't he?i heard that FPS and RTS are his fortes.

blizzard is by far on top. closely followed by konami (MGS and WE)

id Software rocks too.

Ones like Activision,Namco and Sierra have a couple of really good games,while their less notable games are simply not worth mentioning.

Microsoft's got some good ones too.

Sega used to be so great.

Shining Force, NiGhts, Sonic, Virtua Fighter, Virtua Cop, House of the Dead.

Then they released the Saturn system and it started going downhill. Even though they are just a software developer now, they are hemorraging money.

imo EA games is not bad with chart toppers like the sims and red alert 2,but EA Sports sucks big time imo.

apart from the NBA series(which isn't even that good) the rest of the games are shite.total club manager especially
