Thuram was 29 or thirty when he signed for Juve. I don't think it's that big a deal.[/QUOT

Maybe it was'nt a big deal in 2001,but today(particularly in Europe)slow centrebacks will be skinned alive!

I don't know about that. The game hasn't changed much in the past five years. Terry's pulling that off every week, and Gallas is pretty fast to begin with, though I can't speak for Oddo, as I haven't seen much of him.

why would milan get henry?that would only happen if shevchenko is offloaded imo.and im assuming that your statement about buffon being involved in a possible transfer to milan is because of the betting scandal.or is it?

Sheva going to Chelsea is everywhere, even Berlusconi admitted it in public. Henry is the only replacement for him.

Buffon's lady does not want to live in Turin and she wants to live in Milano instead. The rumours are more than just rumours.

Against Palermo after the game was over, the players went to the Curva and cheered the fans, Buffon went with them and then ran all around the stadium cheering everyone there. COuld it be because he was saying goodbye? I think so.

from what ive heard, milan are only interested in selling shevchenko if they're getting crespo in a swap deal plus loads of cash.i think shevchenko's replacement would be crespo - someone who's a proven goal scorer in italy.plus, with the scandals surrounding italian soccer currently,i think henry would prefer a more peaceful environment in barcelona even though its difficult to see where he would fit in their lineup currently.

the buffon thing im not too sure about.he does come across to me as a loyal club servant.ive always thought that the passion and energy he generates is outdone by only cannavaro and zambrotta.so maybe the running around the stadium bit was just a passionate display.i for one hope that he stays here.
