gaim annoys me :lazy:
I spent all morning installing and configuring aMSN, I was so happy it all worked as it should so I would stop using Gaim.

Can you pop in messenger a bit? I had some problems with my webcam.

amsn is worse, built with ancient tk, it looks like crap and is more annoying.

Ah, I started yesterday :D but I decided that if I keep XP, I will lose the stamina to discover and learn more.

well good luck, you're gonna need it, god knows i've been through hundreds of re-installs. i wouldn't recommend taking it all on at once, without a back up windows partition, but if you're a brave one...

what distro are you trying out? ubuntu? if so that's a great place to start with a AMAZING communitty, they also send you neat cd's for free. :weee:

I have already ordered the 5.10 cds and it was a failure back then.

Last week I got the 6.06 cds and now I made the switch.

Yes, that's just what he says when you start it the first time. He can also give you a tip-of-the-day :D
I'm telling you, AI these days is scaring the fvck out of me..

Just the other day, I opened up Kopete, and I got this tip of the day:

"I see you have a windows partition.. Would you like me to:
a) Destroy it and set up a swap partition?
b) Mess up the MBR so it will not boot?
c) Rename explorer.exe?
d) Do nothing (i.e. idly plot against windows as long as kopete is running)"

Needless to say, I shut it off :D

I vote option A) :cool2: There's no point in having a Windows partition around if you can't use that disk space as swap while you're running linux.
