Udinese slam D'Ago door shut

Wednesday 1 July, 2009

Udinese President Giampaolo Pozzo says Gaetano D’Agostino’s Juventus move is “over,” but left the door open for Antonio Di Natale to Parma.

Talks for D’Agostino’s switch to Turin collapsed last week and Juve patron Giovanni Cobolli Gigli insisted they were still interested, but a different story is emerging from Udine.

“The matter with Juventus is over, because they are not giving the correct value to this player,” slammed Pozzo on Antenna 3 television.

“I tell the fans to keep calm, as in three weeks they’ll see the new squad and understand we made the right decisions. We do everything to strengthen the side, even though it can sometimes seem like a paradox.”

I don't know why this guy is really pissed from us ?!

We gave them an offer that they feel is not the right "value" for their player and thats it (happens all the time). But why all the tention and anger from this guy !!

Nah, keep it open.

General managers say a lot of things; who knows if they're true.
I don't know, man. As if the situation wasn't a little rough already, he goes and says:

“Our market is blocked by players who don't want to be sold. Sure, before we can buy we have to sell.

“Poulsen is one of the players we put up for sale and in theory also David Trezeguet. "

That's from CH4.

Sure there's truth to that, and obviously Poulsen shut Fener down, but frankly, I'd prefer he leave Trez out of it - the man has given this team a lot, and I feel that comments like this are unnecessary and generally aren't good for morale or internal cohesion.

An ultimatum?

Looks more like he's come crawing back, attempting to re-open negotiations.

So you watched the interview on live ? :D
No I diden't but I think that Sky is reliable when it comes to interviews.. they are wrong sometimes with there transferrumours..

But to be added they are often the first one coming out with big news..

So im 99% sure that it's a real interview ;)
