But it's like Tiago in Juve, he already well known player, but then flopped
but no teams wants to take risk and buy him, revive his career...

In Davids case, we take that risk

Well, the question was if Davids was an established star when he joined Juve? Alen is right, he was already a star but was finding himself in a rather bad patch prior to joining Juve.

I wonder if Juventuz.com is present during that time, what will be the forum's general reaction to the Edgar Davids's Milan to Juventus transfer.
I agree with u that there was some risk in that deal ...

Back to D'Ago, 20M Euro is still on the high side. 12-15M Euro plus Paloucci will be a good deal for Udinese seeing they just sold Quag.

€15m + Lanzafame and Paolucci is too much and we'll be overpaying for the guy. We paid €12m + Lanzafame and Nocerino for Amauri who is a better player and with much higher mercato prize since he's a striker.

12m is imo realistic, with 13 or 14 mil being acceptable overpaying. Everything above that means we've been robbed by Udinese.
even that's too much for a player, agent and club that admitted to the whole world he wants Juve and only Juve. Udinese have 2 choices if they can't convince the player to go elsewhere a) keep him b) sell him to Juve for a reasonable price that will content every party.

I think we could settle for 15/16m € cash or 10m € + a couple of player we don't see in our future on co-ownership/straight up sold.

10 mil plus players = 15 mil or a 14-15 mil straight cash thats the max we should pay not even a cent more........

As you might know Roma have a Co-Ownership with Udinese. They haven't took the Option for 100% yet, but they're close to. Only Roma have the decision in their hands to keep Motta - he already signed a contract before the loan (if the Ownership is going to bee 100% on Romas side).
AFAIK I think they had an option to buy 50% of his contract after the loan, not 100%...

From wikipedia:
"...He then returned back to Udinese, only to be loaned out to Roma on February 1, 2009. Motta arrived on a free loan until the end of the season with the right to buy up half his contract in June for €3.5million or outright for €7million in three installments"

Looks like they have every option on him.so we'll just wait.

I really hope Juve reach the deal with Udinese in the coming days on D'ago.

This episode better not be one of those Milito and Alonso episodes from the last 2 seasons. Seems like we must be dissapointed every transfer window at some level

if d'agostino deal fails or udinese asks for more than 14 mil there are a lot of good (and even beter than d'agostino) alternatives...

there is no need someone to be italian to play for us...

the same goes for the dl position...
