Just wondering.. what ever happened to that mystery person entering Juve HQ with his agent? Or isn't there any new info?

- Sorry for the off-topic, but that whole thing got me well excited :D -

On D'Ago: Ekdal would be ok on loan, but please no more of this co-ownership stuff indeed. It's good to give him some playing time though. Been forever since I've seen him on a football pitch..

ADAGIO, MA AVANTI - «La trattativa va avanti», ha assicurato intervenendo a Telereadiostereo Sergio Gasparin, direttore generale dell’Udinese, escludendo uno stop.

*****************************************************************

Negotiations taking longer than Juve hoped. Nothing new there. Still hopeful of resolving the impasse by offering the 2nd half of Paolucci + De Ceglie and additional cash.

Giovinco does not want to move from Turin.

Marchisio of out of bounds for Udinese.

Juventus President Giovanni Cobolli Gigli admits negotiations for Udinese midfielder Gaetano D'Agostino are still only 'halfway down the line'.

The sticking point appears to be Sebastian Giovinco, the talented Juventus trequartista, who Udinese want to form part of the deal.

Udinese would like to part-own the 'Atomic Ant', but Juventus are reluctant to let go of a player who could yet succeed Ale Del Piero.

“Sebastian interests Ferrara a lot. Jean-Claude Blanc and Alessio Secco are working with great determination on this field,” Cobolli Gigli explained.

He then went on to say Juventus would not be abandoning their interest in D'Agostino despite the hiccup in negotiations.

“There are alternatives, but for the moment we are looking to concentrate ourselves on this deal.” Cobolli Gigli revealed.

“D'Agostino is a great central midfielder, we will keep our feet on the ground.”

Cobolli Gigli later denied Juventus have made an attempt to sign want-away Lazio striker Goran Pandev.

“No, he is a good player, but at the moment in which we are interested we will go and speak with Lazio President Claudio Lotito.

“At the moment, that has not yet happened,” Cobolli Gigli said. “We have not asked about him.”

A deal for Pandev is linked with the future of David Trezeguet, the Juventus striker, who is being linked with Roma and Lyon.

“David is a player, who always interests Juventus. He wants to have greater opportunities to play and, if interesting proposals were made to us for him, we would evaluate them,” Cobolli Gigli revealed.

He finished off his Press conference by defending Ciro Ferrara, the new Juventus trainer, who hasn't any previous experience as a Coach.

“Ferrara is a guarantee, but in work there are always bets to wage. Anyway he is a guarantee,” Cobolli Gigli concluded.

D'Ago is a talented and competent midfielder, for sure. I'm expecting his coming. But our yong players such as Giovinco, De Ceglie and Marchisio should not be involved in any kind of deal, because they will be indispensable to Juve in the future. Obviously Marchisio is becoming a main midfielder, and he always plays an important role. And Giovinco has also given a fine performance in the match against Chelsea. So never sell them!

If we were giving them Gio or Marchisio.. the deal would already be done. But since we aren't, the deal is 'stalling'. I'm not worried, atleast not about those 2, who are undoubtably of more value than DC. Don't get me wrong.. I'd like to keep DC.

Udinese r just playing hard ball to get the max price for D'Ago.. as he had a great year, so it's the right time to sell.

Anyway.. There's no way anyone is taking Gio or Marchisio. That would be sooo stupid. :)
