My opinion is this.

If, and I do mean IF, they get D'agostino, Giovinco's days are numbered at Juventus.

If they play a 4-3-1-2, then that will leave Giovinco seriously exposed defensively on the wing. And last I checked, our Full backs aren't exactly the best around.

How is D'agostino's ability as an on the ball defender?? Is it somewhat decent?

If we use the 4-3-1-2, then no matter what Seba won't start, because Diego and Del Piero will play. I'm already pretty much sure Seba will spend another year on the bench but hopefully given far more opportunities than under Ranieri.

Dawgostino is competent defensively, but nothing special. As long as we field Sissoko next to him it should work fine, then perhaps use Camo - Dawgo - Sissoko against weaker sides and during home matches. Marchisio can play for either him or Camo if we need more steel in midfield, or we can just play him outright.

Dawgostino is competent defensively, but nothing special.

For a pure playmaker he was pretty special defensively last year. You already know that he was the best tackler in serie A in 2008/09.

Honestly, we haven't had that "midfield magician" here in a very long time. That link between the forwards and midfield. If anything, this could prolong Delpiero's career, because he won't be required to do as much for the buildup, and Juve will FINALLY have someone in the middle of the pitch that other teams will have to account for.

I wouldn't want to see Seba leave, but I just have this feeling that he will be a change of pace specialist off the bench. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I don't know if he has the build or the stamina to be able to play a full 90 every week

They have somewhere between 25 and 20 million pounds to spend this summer. They're hardly poor and don't really need to make any massive purchases this year. They need a quality second striker behind Torres, a right back to push Arbeloa, and a young cb to replace Hyppia. Any more than that and they will sell, but that doesn't mean they need to sell any of their star players to get what they need in the transfer market. Babel, Degen, Voronin, will probably be sold. If you remember, Liverpool signed Mascherano, Kuyt, Agger, and Torres to big long term contracts and Alonso still has 3 years on his current deal, those deals woudn't have been done if Liverpool were completely out of cash.

Yes, for the time that he was out there.

The question is, would he be able to do it for 90 minutes, week in and week out.

Realistically speaking I don't think Pool will splurge on a Tevez or Lavezzi, even though I think they should. Probably end up signing a cheaper model like Pandev or heaven forbid signing Owen.

Mourinho himself said that Inter are going to buy another CM (after they bought Motta). Dominic is right, Inter have CMs but all of them are fighters with more muscles than playmaking skills. They don't have a Pirlo, Xabi, D'Agostino type of player.
I don't know if they'll try to buy this kind of CM, but it's a fact that they don't have that type of player and it's also a fact that Mourinho said that he needs another CM. (he said that he needs a DC, MC and FC. The media speculates with the names of Carvalho, Deco and Eto'o but Mourinho didn't deny nor confirm that. He just said that he doesn't talk about names)
