I'm certainly for it, but only for a reasonable price. Absolutely NO if it comes down to sending Marchisio or Giovinco away for good, for loan, or for co-ownership. With regard to De Ceglie, I'd rather not give him away either.

So it's going to have to be cash with someone such as Tiago, Poulsen, Marchionni, or some other fringe/crap player going in the other direction, or simply straight cash, homie.

No more than 15M Euros, that's for sure. Even that's seemingly a lot.
I think the only way we will get 15m cash (straight up) is by selling. I am not sure how much hard currency we have in our reserve...going to have to revert to selling assets aka weak links.

For that amount of money I'd rather have Hamsik.

I just have an issue with them spending that kind of money on someone, who at the age of 27, finally "gets it", if you know what I mean

This pozzo guy from Udinese must be smoking some really good shit over there. 30 F-ing millions for an ok player. He is not even worth 15 millions. I say let's sign Alonso instead and go with the 4-3-1-2
:lol2:

Yeah.

Let's convince Liverpool to sell a player they want to keep and then convince them and Alonso to choose us over Real and Perez's millions.

I say just give them Tiago and Marchionni. No reason why they should say no to that. They could use those players.

For 30M Euros or for 15? I don't think Hamsyk could come for under 20.

So far they have washed 70m down the drain on Kaka, how much more is Perez planning to spend?

Real madrid are busy negotiating with players such as ribery kaka and CR7. Liverpool don't have enough funds to support their transfer market, so for them to buy it's a necessary to sell somebody. I say offer liverpool in the region of 20-25 million. I believe they won't argue about it.

Definitely Tiago....they would lose one CM to gain another CM plus millions. And a then of course marco whom "could" be useful for them.

Hamsik for 15 would be a steal. I say Hamsik for 15m over D'ago for 15m. Take a risk I always say, he is younger too.

Right, first you have to convince Rafa to sell a player he absolutely doesn't want to sell. Then you have to convince Alonso that he isn't too slow for Serie A. All of which would need to be done for under 15 million pounds when Madrid are offering 25-30 plus a player.

It has to be admitted that the weight of many of the most intelligent, footy savy, wise posters on this site, not to mention best looking is among the no vote.

They can't be wrong!

I wonder when they will be meeting again. This week for D'ago?

On a good note, my Xbox 360 is en route to be delivered to my house after sending back to manufacturer to bring it back to life after the red ring of death.

Well, you never know. I don't think hamsik is for sale anyway. At least, if I were running Napoli, I wouldn't sell him.

I just don't see it with D'Agostino. The term "One Year Wonder" keeps flashing before my eyes.
Dawgostino has the skill, but yeah, there's always a risk of something like an Almiron occurring, but this guy isn't an Almiron in my view.

Surely we can't break the bank or our backs over this player though.

Whether or not Madrid bid again doesn't matter. They've already made the offer. It was just 20 million plus Heinze, which Rafa laughed off. But now that Madrid has done this, Rafa is of course going to play every other bid off it. But I doubt we sell him. Especially with Barca having a hard on for Mascherano and Barry moving to Man Shitty. Our owners may be idiots but we won't sell both our holding mids in the same market.

My opinion is this.

If, and I do mean IF, they get D'agostino, Giovinco's days are numbered at Juventus.

If they play a 4-3-1-2, then that will leave Giovinco seriously exposed defensively on the wing. And last I checked, our Full backs aren't exactly the best around.

How is D'agostino's ability as an on the ball defender?? Is it somewhat decent?
