Nah he just messing me with the Rossi bit, he was legit with the little inside speculation before, he doesnt misuse the holy green font for jokes ;) Some player went to Juve HQs, making it a point to not go through the front door, perhaps some deal happening, could mean anything really. Doubt its us signing a player, any known player coming to Turin would be noticed.

Unless its Salvio, no one knows him :D

Hello everybody. This is my first post in this forum. My native language isn't English and I appologize for some mistakes.

We are on the verge of signing D'Agostino and I am hopeful that the transfer will happen because I think he is a great player with great technical abilities.

On the other hand I heard from some rumours that Fenerbahce want to sign C. Poulsen. Did you also hear about it and where are the latest news about it (Thread?)?

I never saw on a site that Fener wants Poulsen but man, I hope you are right! Poulsen is not Juve material and with the new midfield there is absolutely no place for him. Our midfield is becoming a more technical showcase and Poulsen is just an average DM. Sissoko is much better! D'Ago, I said it before, is welcomed with open arms by me. Imagine:

Camoranesi, Marchisio, D'Agostino, Zanetti, Sissoko, Diego, Giovinco

Come on, that's one of the best midfields in Italy!

EDIT: oh, and welcome by the way, you're English is good here for the forum, we aren't teachers who have to judge you:p!!

Are you high or something? This sheep thing is getting ridiculous now. Someone started the talk that Poulsen is bad, and now everybody is just making stuff up.

Poulsen is just an average DM? You haven't watched him when his duties are to play DM not a creative CM or your football knowledge is near 0.

Aha ok, well its not said in the quoted parts of your posts, but his part of the post, but I guess its just a mix up then with the quotes, even for him would be too ridicolous saying he isnt good enough, and it seemed like he was saying it directly with his own words.
yeah it confused me when i looked at the link cuz for some reason my section wasnt quoted from me but from him. anyways, i was only being sarcastic during that post to highlight a point (which i am sure you know what i mean)

Poulsen is not as bad as he seemed to be this year, but he was also too overrated.
It is not the same thing to be a DM in Spain and Italy. Serie A is more physical.
Poulsen is clearly not even remotely close to a solid, dedicated DM, like Sissoko defensively.

He was brought as a half measure. Someone who could help with the defensive duties a bit. (Sissoko was meant to be fully responsible for that)
And also give some support forwards.
CR was far too coward to field a specialized midfielder, with the seer duty to attack! Poulsen is not too good at neither attacking, or defending, but he is decent at both and marginally better at defending.
Tiago is quite the opposite. And CR wanted just that!

They both failed because CR didnt use them properly, esp Tiago.

Lets forget all these now. We have a new coach and a totally new formation!
We wont have to field two DMs and two defensive wingers anymore.
(who cant pass due to position issues, or skills)

Both Tiago and Poulsen can be used more properly and that would increase their efficiency! I expect to see a far more upgraded version of them!

If D'ago joins, he would have even more chances to succeed!
He is adapted to the needs of serie A.
He will be extra motivated, because this is the step forward he was waiting for a life time and since he is also a Juventino, i expect him to give us his best!
And he will be called to play in a position that really suits him, right from the beginning!

I really dont think that we should discussing a creativity/passing issue, in this new Juve.
Diego's presence alone guarantees that!

Thanks, I'll try my best next time :agree:

But he could have said that Poulsen is not what we needed or what we will need in the future, but to write that he is just an average DM? Did he see him play as a DM, if so then I don't know how he came up with that conclusion.

Welcome.

I would not oppose the departure of Tiago or even Poulsen tbh.

When Poulsen had his duties only to defend he did very good against top Serie A sides. And i don't think Poulsen is too weak physically to be bullied. Yes, one of the reasons he underperformed was misusing him in a CM position, the other was continuety, which he didn't get due to injuries.

Just put your dislike of this transfer aside and think of him as pure DM, not some CM who can defend, but just DM and you will see that he is a quality player. By the way Poulsen is very solid when it comes to defending.

Poulsen is strong and quite capable of playing in Serie A based on the physical characteristics needed to be successful in this league.

Did anyone ever overrate Poulsen? He started slowly, grew into his role and then became injured. Then he started to come back again and the season ended.
