That sounds like other deals we made in the past. Palermo wanted Giovinco and they ended up with Nocerino. We just paid them a little bit more.

I think other clubs are just trying their luck when asking for Giovinco because he hasnt been playing they think they might have a chance of getting him.

They are holding the new Pizarro at his best season.
The hype and the fact that he is Italian gives them the better opportunity for maximum profits!

Lets just hope that Juve's prestige alone and the will of the players, wil be enough to bend their will...

I can't help feeling he is a little too old to suddenly be a very good player.
You have a very good reason to feel that way.
If he keeps playing the way he played last year, he'll be an exception of the rule more than a rule itself. Kinda like Mauro Camoranesi who "suddenly" became a very good player at 26, when Juve bought him from the relegated Verona.

But for every Camoranesi there are 50 Almiron's, so as i said, you have a good reason for your fear.

I'm hopeful about D'Agostino because the talent was always there. He, De Rossi and Gilardino were considered the most talented youngsters, after Cassano, of their generation. But while the other three did prove their talent to the world, D'Agostino needed 5 more years after he stopped being an u-21 to do something good and something everyone expected to see from the extremely talented youngster.

Not forget to mention a new striker...cause it seems trezegol will leave the club soon. otherwise we really need a new and young forward to replace him. Lavezzi is good option
A striker isnt really needed IMO, Iaq/Amauri and Alex/Gio is fine in my book. Defence needs sorted out more than attack!

Yeah you guys are right if we lose Trez we shouldnt really make it our top priority to replace him as i would be quite happy with what we already have. I dont think the board feel like that though.

A striker is needed, not a big priority but needed, what will happen if Iaquinta and Amauri are injured? Which will happen, will we play Giovinco and Del Piero as our strikers?
