We dont need another CM.
We need a hardcore backup DM as the lack of Sissoko proved.
Our defense need that at least. But considering that our new coach might come up with a new formation, we might not even need that either!

It is unwise to make any kind of assumptions, or even worse decisions atm.
These rumors are empty words and speculations.
Just because this player had just one good year, it doesnt mean that we are really interested on him. We dont even know who is going to start for us next season, neither the formation we are going to use.
There cant be a possible solid consideration of any player atm.
This interest is really overrated.

And to answer your question Ahmed, NO, i am not at all impressed by the one year revelations.
Because they have the unmistakable tendency to fade away in the next season.
And esp when the join a competitive team and put under pressure.

We cannot afford committing any more mistakes like that and overpay players for the seer fact of some current form. Form is temporary!
I think that Inter already committed that mistake and i hope they wil pay for it!
Hopefully, we will be proved wiser!
You mean guys like Quack and Gigi D'Agostino? :shifty: :)

Yep:agree:
Of course i dont ignore the potential they showed at previous seasons and the progressive growth of their performances.
But we should not rush our decisions and overpay just for the hype and some momentary form, that might not be repeated again...

Although he could be beneficial for us as the players we have with the same attributes are either average, inconsistent or simply injury prone(Tiago, Poulsen and Zanetti) but he is still a luxury due to the other problmatic areas that hold more importance.

We need someone like him to remove the ad-hoc approach we tend to play with at times but right now we will have to do with what we have and hope they perform.

Anyway, I don't mind having him in the squad but at the same time I wouldn't want to field him as a starter over Marchisio or Sissoko.

I do mind having him if it means ceding Criscito. We don't have a quality LB, and giving them away one of the best performers in Serie A is ridiculous to say the least.

Agree with you for D'Agostino, also for Quag i think he isn't good enough for us, what he will add more than Iaquinta ....

im fine with getting d' agostino as long as we dont sacrifice criscito for that
its stupid to give one of the better defenders for the whole season while our defence is our weak point

D'Agostino is good, and we would struggle to sign a better deep lying playmaker.

Criscito can go, if we will sign damn good LB to replace him.
