The doom of Marchisio and our chances to fix our defense has arrived!!!
I wish all the best to our new Poulsen.
He is Italian, a true Juventino and he can dribble and pass,
who cares if we need more than defenders or not...

D'Agostino did NOT confirm the deal.He said that nothing is signed and the usual stuff like he'd be happy to play for a big club like Juve.

You're a pretty awful informer.
mark's job is safe for now then. :D

First of all, do you think Tiago will be part of our squad next season? How much chance does Zanetti have to be injury free with his record? So that leaves us with Momo, D'Agostino(If we buy him), Marchisio, who will surely participate much next season. And none of them is a direct replacement for Momo. Besides, Zanetti wasn't exactly very good when he played this season, what makes you think that with his injuries he will be better next season?

The only negative side of Poulsen is that he has high wages. But to have such caliber player on the bench is incredible. Teams who play 3 days a weak, and who want to win, players on the bench with Paulsen quality is a must.
you also have to remember that we will miss Sissoko when the african cup is. it is better to have a quality backup in poulsen there, than to be running on the teethflesh, when sissoko is on international duty and we get one injury.

True, but Africa nations cup isn't very big problem for us. Mali isn't very strong, so we will not miss him for a whole month or more, like Chelsea misses their players.

Poulsen is class, just that you are expecting playmaking abilities from him, but it is not his job, his job is to be a DM, and we have seen what he can do when he is given clear duties to defend.

I'm sticking with my opinion, great teams needs such players on the bench.

Also given Zanetti and Camo's injury problems .. we will need Poulsen.

Tiago though is just a filler type player .. which I would not mind other than the fact he is on a starting player's salary. Thats why I feel he should be sold most of all.

More depth for our team means more success, this is a brillant move. We would have 2 very good midds and 2 or 3 very capable subs with the turnover next year every single player will have his chances. This is great news for our team, we just need a decent RB or LB now and we're set.
