They can’t whiff on their next guy, they need someone that can provide some stability. They haven’t had that since Allegris first stint. It’s also why I wouldn’t want someone like Conte, he’s more of a short term fix before the inevitable flame out.

I just wish they would’ve hired Palladino to begin with. Wanted him over Motta, he was cheaper and had ties to the club. Shit, maybe they can still get him. Mancini is more interesting than Gasperini for me because Gasperini is too stubborn tactically. We’d have the same issues as with Motta. That style works when he’s established himself and isnt coaching a bunch of high earning divas.

The way they're handling this is dumb, yet again. So we're going to replace Motta IF we don't win against Genoa, and this has basically been made public? Must serve like a great motivation, and how does a decision like this come down to a single game? You either believe in your coach or you don't. It's obvious we're not going anywhere with Motta so they should've cut ties right after Fiorentina, which would have given a new coach one extra week. Giuntoli clearly hasn't learned anything from the mess he made last December, and if you can't learn from your screw-ups, you shouldn't be a Juventus either.

This is the ideal opportunity to sack Motta (ignoring that he should have gone weeks ago). We had 2 weeks to deal with the change and have a winnable home game up next.

Instead we are sleep walking again and will hold onto Motta to inflict more damage and scramble for a replacement between tricky games when he inevitably drops more points.

it's proof inter doesn't need to destroy juve when juve is willing to do it far more effectively.

It is true. When they try to destroy us we came back with a winning era. Now they just sit down and enjoy our show.
Honestly our masterpiece started a long time ago when we sacked Marotta who was actually doing a very good job.

It's embarrassing how we're openly shopping for coaches while also backing him for the Genoa game.

The way this club treats its employees is a disgrace justified or not.

There's no way Motta will handle the pressure or the players will even play to save his job so just sack him already.

I wish Ranieri was still available I reckon he'd got us over the line and now demand another year.

I damn hope its BS. I would be ok with these 4 months but NO to an obligation on any condition.
I rather see us miss CL than have Mancini for an entire season!

I do not believe this crap.
Also give one of the staff the job rather than get him is a way better option.

Next year - Conte - No other option!

Conte is under contract until 2027 with Napoli. Why does everyone think he will come here so easily next season? Not going to happen.

I would rather not miss out on CL football lol. If we keep Motta, you can probably say goodbye to the CL for the foreseeable future. Bringing in any half-decent coach now to guide us through these last games gives us more of a chance At least.

None of those rumored coaches should stay beyond the summer though… all of them are washed up. Fire Motta get an interim coach and start fresh from the summer ( year zero)

We also need to bring this guy, currently part of Motta's coaching staff but he is one of the key members behind Motta's success especially on a fitness level

I read the thread from page 85 onwards to remind myself of the excitement around hiring Motta.

Remember this? :touched:
He did it again

On another note hats off to @Espectro @s4tch @Bjerknes and a realistic @Stevie. They all predicted Mottas gonna fail. There will be others I've missed, but well done guys.

Another big mistake not to sack Motta during this international break.

I actually think Giuntoli is worst and should be the first to go though. Would be even sweeter to see them both get the chop in one swoop.

hard to tell which one is worse but it's motta who has to work closely with the squad and he clearly doesn't control the locker and has/had a documented bad relationship with way too many players in a relatively short time

agreed on the missed opportunity to sack him and let the new coach work calmly during the break
