True, but I don’t see our management doing that, it’s just a false hope. Why would Klopp come here anyway.
true, that's why my remark wasn't about klopp specifically. i just don't think that the box is carved in stone :boh: after all motta is just as lolzilian as italian, and we also considered mihajlovic and tudor previously

The safest choice: Conte. Back to winning mentality for sure. though he will come with maybe twice salary as Motta get.

The most risky choice: Zidane. won't be cheaper in wages compared to Conte. Not proven for building a new project.

Of course, i talk about in summer. Conte maybe only available at that time.
if motta do worse than expected, he will be gone before April.

It's going to be Gasperini, isn't it.

I'm fine with it. He will have these big Gasperations and the JJ fans will fall in line because of Bergamo Calcio. Then, a few matches into the season, once the shine wears off, it'll be business as usual with no discernable style of play and giving up even cheaper goals than we do now. Maybe we can sign a couple big profile wingbacks like Ruggeri and Bellanova for high fees, then eventually be stuck with them once they don't fit the new system.

Looking forward to insulting the old Italian manager just like we did with Allegri, plus the added bonus he looks like Jeffrey Epstein.

He publically embarrased his player after the Brugge game.

Didnt he also fell out with Papu Gomez who was important player for them for years.

Then he did that with Lookman.

Kind of a pathetic little man tbh.

He is also 68 this spring. I cant see him having enough time to make us successfull unit.

I would have been ok with him couple of years ago, when the management thought, a rookie like Pirlo was ready and right. At least Gasperini has experience.

Now i dont want him anymore. He is almost 70. I just dont see him producing his style here in 1-2 years.

We need a strong coach with also certain charisma not someone who throws players under the bus.

In my opinion the most obvious as well as safest temporary choice would be Igor Tudor at this stage, put him interim till summer and see how it goes, if he turns it around and shows progress then we can potentially consider giving him the full next season, otherwise we’ll at least have more time to evaluate and plan things come summer to see who else is available.

If we do make a change in the next few weeks it will surely be an interim, doubt we’ll look to commit long term with anyone on such a short notice.
This is a good point that this actually is a good time to give somebody a shot in the interim.

For koop sake, maybe it's worth it, but can he handle a dressing room? I think not.
Our dressing room is mostly nice guys atm tho.

That's partly our problem as a club tbh but that's how it is.

Gasperini's experience may make him a good candidate, but does he have the leadership qualities that we are desperately lacking with Mossad?

Wait, he's older than Ancelotti? Mad. Nah, I'll pass.

Gian Piero #Gasperini 's secret dream remains that of coaching #Juventus , the club where he grew up and won at youth level. Returning there after 20 years would be the crowning achievement of his career. Progetto giovani has always exalted him and #Giuntoli wanted him at #Napoli in 2019.

And then it will turn out it's the club on all levels that makes Atalanta play like they play, not a player or a coach. Just like we are witnessing now with Bologna.

It should be Conte. Period. Unlike that Livornese sharmouta, at least Conte has an active coaching career and achieving reasonable success with mid tier teams.

He's a whiny character but relationships can be mended over time. Be it coach, president or CEO, we need a figurehead and Conte is that kinda guy on a coaching level. A hard taskmaster who has an undisputed track record of reviving teams from mediocrity. Just too many examples to ignore. He's still among the best coaches out there and I'd rather go with the 'experience' of Conte than Bergamo Epstein and the likes.

At this moment in time, we just need JJ to get back to being a competitive team in Serie A. We've been out of league contending action for far too long. We can worry about Europe later.

Relationships can be mended, narcissistic personalities can't. Pass.

I'd go for an international figure anyway for image purposes. Klopp was named and he'd be a good fit. Has the class to bring some old values back to the jj world too.

its probably totally made up, but i will post it anyway - CdS:

PLAYERS OUTBREAK AGAINST THIAGO MOTTA
"I can't stand him and I'm not the only one," a Juventus player reportedly confessed to a friend , according to 'Il Corriere della Sera'.
The player himself also explained the reason for his hatred towards Thiago Motta: " You never know what to expect, from a starter to 90 minutes on the bench."

- - - Updated - - -

Fabio #Capello to GdS: “Thiago #Motta must prove he is good enough for #Juventus . There is a lot of work to do. The departures of #Chiesa and #Danilo were difficult to understand. Motta must play more vertically and speed up the maneuver. He must take more risks, becoming less readable…”

klopp left liverpool because he was tired and couldn't cope with the pressure anymore. not sure you want such a coach for a club with huge pressure, idiotic administration, and above all extremely spoiled fanbase with completely unrealistic expectations

i can't believe i'm saying this but i'd also take conte back. adl will be playing hard ball to release him without paying for him, his wages are high, he's a whiny bitch himself. his principles are also questionable, and at some point he'd surely fall out with the management, whoever it may be. but he's a good coach, a good motivator, a players favorite (pirlo said he's the best coach he worked with and that's something) and most importantly can tell jj and juventus apart. pair conte with platini for the next 5 years and we'd win at least 2 scudetti

That would be a good point against Klopp. That's talking absolute names ofc. There should be a long term option somewhere 'tho if Motta goes. If history shows anything it's that Conte is all but that. No way he's staying for 5 years.

We're 8 points from the top, no need to sell our soul to the devil. A bit of experience, the right coach and we'll probably be right up there but refinding our class is just as important imo.
