i wasn't a fan either, but i don't remember especially hating him. i hated stankovic, pagliuca, cassano, icardi, samuel and a few others. and of course that utter fucktard materazzi, who was at the bottom of my barrel alongside moratti. motta though, i thought he never was a special character. lautaro, barella of the current inda crop, or cunts like izzo, gagliardini, skriniar, bruno fernandes (etc) rank higher on my punchable dudes' list than motta

Being a good coach is a tight rope. You need just a touch of meme level retardation without going full retard 24/7. It's possible Motta has that ability.

It could also be that Zirkzee is seen as a top 3 striker once he goes back to Bayern.
