So are we truly looking at Benitez...or Allegri if we cannot entice the red faced spaniard???

Is there any decent chance of anyone better? Like Capello or Lippi?
or even prandelli or gasperini as second choices???

its simple
No CL => No top players => no top coach

well, maybe lippi might consider coming but even that is a tinny possibility.

so as of now i see only perendilli, allegri and gasparini as viable options.
however, with the change of management, especially if secco left, i will add DD to the mix

I still blame the board for not sacking Ferrara when/at the right time as they should have done. Too stubborn if you ask me. This IS the wrost ever season ive ever witnessed as a massive supporter. Rebuilding!?!? thought that was a couple of seasons ago. were going backwards. Sort yourselves out FFS!

Have you seen my av? :D
yes, mate...I suspect you are aware of my lack of dreamy joy at the impending appointment of rafa, but I am getting behind him now, along with his many fans amongst us. The blow is softened massively, for me, is Marotta DOES come as well, because I see him as one of the brightest transfer moguls in Italy...what are your thoughts on this???? On both Rafa's suitability to our presently dire situation, and also what Marotta will bring to proceedings?

People thinking no Champions League will not bring us good players will be pleasantly suprised. This summer will be up there with the best we've had in the past decade.

I find it refreshing getting a coach with experience and suitable for the Serie A. He doesn't have the language problem, I like the 4-2-3-1, he's got a CL, won with Valencia...I think it's a very good choice if you look at who would be available.

Marotta has some credibility around the league. He knows his football and surrounds himself with the right people which is very important because he relies on them for the mercato also.

Now that this is settled, bring on the right players and let's rock n' roll!!! :mark:

I'm thinking the exact same thing. Juventus is a prestigious club I'm sure they can get good signings if they're willing to pay up.

The problem is not how much :money: we can spend to sign players, but rather who we sign.

We've spent 160 mil in the last 3 years yet the majority of these players proved to be not the right players for the club.

What this club lacks ATM is "brain", someone who really knows what he's doing and who he wants. Not signing players just for the sake of it (something that we've been doing since we came back to serie A).

Secco sticking around isn't helping the situation, the man should leave and a serious guy with serious experience should be hired in his place.
