Peng and Yi enjoyed an unforgettable day out as part of the ‘One day with Juve’ project, an initiative reserved exclusively for Premium Members.
The couple travelled directly from China to Juventus Stadium after their names were pulled out of the hat, handing them the opportunity to take in the Bianconeri’s clash with Udinese before meeting their idols.
“I still can’t believe it,” admitted Peng. “It’s an indescribable feeling. I’ve followed Juve for more than 15 years and I’m part of the Chinese JuveFans Organization, which has millions of fans like me.” Alongside his wife Yi, he proudly showed off his Juventus backpack. Inside, there were many different Bianconeri shirts and also a present for Andrea Agnelli. After the game, in the area reserved for Premium Members, they managed to meet the President and hand over a present: a figurine representing a dragon, which can be used as a stamp. The word ‘Juventus’ was written underneath in Chinese characters.
But their evening didn’t end there. Peng and Yi, huge fans of Gigi Buffon, purchased an official Juventus flag, on which Yi wrote ‘Happy Birthday, Gigi!’ with a marker pen. The goalkeeper celebrated his birthday last Saturday, and Yi was able to pass on her best wishes in person. “Thanks, it’s been great. I also managed to get a bib signed by almost all the players.”
The couple are currently expecting a child, and guarantee that their first born will follow in their footsteps by supporting the Bianconeri.
