why did you have to start a friends thread? Its quite possibly the lamest attempt at comedy since the chuckle brothers.

But me too, I've been trying to see it many times to find out, why people enjoy it so much, and I failed, even if I wanted that much.

I think you'll find that a lot of people will disagree with you, Friends is a legend in comedy shows, one of the most succefull ever...

It is very difficult to follow shows like that coming from another country.

No matter how much I was watching comedy shows on BBC Prime for example- to me nothing was funny.

I see what your saying though. The Ali G show which is a very funny british show is something that a lot of people in the US just can not relate to. Maybe becuase they dont know the urban life in the UK as it hasnt been exposed much.
