I want them to win ofcourse but as long as they learn something I really don't care too much. that is what these games are for. this is not an fm game, I knew it would take time to form a good team with all the signings we have made.

If we manage to scrape by and win, our board will believe we dont need any new players, but if we lose it's obvious we need players. So as much as I hate to see us lose, I just want the board to wake up

You may have a point here. Although, I don't understand how they can think this defense and CM is any good? I think we are in some trouble. Especially with Ranieri at the helm.

I will join everyone on this forum and kick the hell out of Secco, Ranieri and so one if we don't qualify for CL but we have played a couple of friendlies. Already you guys get nervous, what did you expect that we already had a world class team? these things take time and the more players you buy the longer it will take.
we are playing teams that are nearing the beginning of their lchampionship, we knew it was going to be hard but in these games you learn the most.

i think Ranieri is sweating a lil' now...he has to start a good team this time

Bottom line...there really is no excuse for losing at Sunderland! Aug.8 against Inter & Napoli will be a much more realistic test. Like it or not Inter are ahead of us with their preparation, looking the part with Suazo against Partisan Belgrade, & Man.U. (apart from the Adriano o.g.) Napoli at the San Paolo are nobody's fools either. Still, consider this...2 years ago we didn't do so well in the Birra Moretti & Berlusconi tournaments & we finished top top of Serie A, albeit with a different manager...
