I don't think it's useless. The result is irrelevant but it's an opportunity for Palladino and others to get playing time and Ranieri has a chance to look at his reserve players in a game with no pressure where the result doesn't matter.

Maybe he will find a decent defender in the reserve team.

No need to risk Nedved on this one.

I hope Ranieri gives this Vanstrattan goalie a shot. Heard good things about him. And Palladino -Iaquinta upfront?

yeah i was just thinking about that.Those days are long gone i guess.

I just hope they dont do anything stupid like hurt themselves in this stupid game.

Who organised this game anyways? Players are are laways moaning they play too much and here we are with a free weekend, they go and start playing friendly matches

Like you said hopefully noone gets injured cos its this types of games that silly injuries occur
