I really hope chiellini and barzagli play every game this season, cause when ogbonna, caceres or bonucci $#@! up in the centre, i will call you out on it till your eyes bleed
By this logic I can call you out on our slow, predictable and clumsy offesive play even if all of our attackers are healthy.

i like how you left out Pogba and Morata...
Just like I left out Benzema, Fabregas and the likes. So far Pogba is CM (even if I see him develop into a more offensive type of player in the future) nad Morata is 190 cm central forward.

Regardless of the above the fact stands that we are severely lacking in creative players while being on par with European giants in defense.

I don't think it's unusual to ice the knee when you start playing on it again. You want to minimize any inflammation right away so you can train again as soon as possible. I think it's normal to get minor inflammation or irritation after playing on a surgically repaired knee.
This. It's so ridiculous to think that him icing his knee after returning from injury means he has hurt it again. Athletes use ice frequently to recover from inflammation and irritation. I use ice buckets for my hands and wrists after a day of climbing, not because I'm injured, but because the stress I put on them causes minor inflammation that ice helps with.

Vidal should be icing his knee after every training session right now. It would be illogical if he were not. I hope he's doing hydrotherapy with contrast baths of the joint, hot and cold. I'm pretty sure many of the players use them for inflamed muscles and joints after most matches.

SLow predictable and clumsy ?

Pirlo and tevez are everything but that. Llorente like every target striker is but that doesnt matter. Stop wanting flair and fancy shit cause you cant stand our playstyle grabbing a ton of records and silverware

We do not "severely lack" in creative players. But you can stop comparing us to teams with much more money then we got.

We are financially forced to get players like Coman and Berardi, and hope for the best development.

YOUR players, would turn us into milan

So does this result mean we lack depth?
our starters conceded a goal against a bunch of kids

WHy ? Cause we miss a centreback

I agree on Coman and Berardi. I would love them to play an important role. But as far as I know Berardi is playing at Sassuolo this coming season and not Juventus. And even if we had both and both turned out great we would still need one more established attacker.

I understand our financial limitations so you don't have to bring this "would turn us into Milan" nonsense. On the other hand the idea to stack the defence even more when we still have Caceres and Ogbonna to play their part in this club is what would keep us in mediciority forever - every season stacking the same positions and later not being able to offload the deadwood and being forced to pay their contracts. Also the defending today is much more about the right setup and teamwork than individual characteristics of the players.

About the silverware - once you say Serie A is a shitty league and than you hate on people hoping for more European success. It is awesome we win in Italy but Italy is weak right now and even if we are not able to compete financially with Real and Bayern we can still make smart choices investing money on players that we need rather than lighting it on fire just to stack the same position again and again. This way we can go further in Europe while staying top in Italy.

Your whole argumentation seems to be "Yeah I know we are lacking in creativity but we can't afford it so lets just buy another defender". If you agree we are behind the European best in creativity then stop arguing because that is the very reason why we need a new attacker rather than another defender

A few remarks.

I dont say serie a is shitty, i love it. Thing is that we face teams who are weaker then us, and they all respond by going defensive. Meaning our defence isnt really taxed. If you play a rigid organisation with lot of protection for possible counters, wich we do, then the central defenders dont really have much to do. Wich is why we also got clean sheats with ogbonna or caceres.
In europe we meet teams who'll attack us.Pressure us. I've seen Ogbonna fail horribly at positionning and mostly reading the game. I've seen caceres make continious small positional mistakes (the amateurish offside trap failure wich led to ronaldo's goal for example).

Look. Barzagli is 33. Chiellini 30 and decaying for years now. Ogbonna and Caceres are FAR from startermaterial for juventus. I could accept them if both are CB's were like 5 years younger, but that isnt the case. You MUST look beyond this. We MUST find a future replacement, preferably one we can pick up alleady.
You need to fucking pray Barzagli is fit for all our european games, and Chiellini gets his shit togheter.

We need Nastasic. 21 year old, big potential, has the qualities to be a future starter, has the qualities for a cb in a 4man backline (preferably deeper then pushing).

Our creativity is definatly good enough. Tevez, Pogba, Pirlo, thats excellent. And we have big potentials waiting to pop. Vitale, Coman, Pereyra, Berardi.

We dont need another attacker. Tevez and Llorente are excellent. We dont need an attacking midfielder cause we have Pereyra and Marchisio, and need to see how Coman will develop.

if Tevez or Llorente goes, and there isnt a good direct replacement, then we'd need another attacker. However it even seems we'd think to go 1 attacker and wingers, and there is Morata. we need to evaluate these things.

As it stands, our team is excellent, but there is a big CB issue. For everything else we need to see how the kids and allegri do this year.
