Man i watch Tarek every week, i watch him more religiously than any other footballer, i know he doesn't play for neither team. He used to play for Hilal, thats why i brought him up.

Of course i wasn't serious, but Tarek back in the day, before he came to Saudi Arabia was a great player.

His style was bad - it was noticeable that his instructions were bad. He was stuck on the right a lot with some strict play, pretty much everything went on passing. Then he moved on the left and pretty much did the same job. Pretty average performances and that was not Martinez I know. He didn't really have offensive role, weird IMO.

Other than that, pitch was toooo small and stream was horrible. I can't wait to see us against HSV. That one should be decent.

It's really confusing what the intentions from Marotta buying Martinez looking at this match. Del Neri used him at right midfielder at start then turn later as left midfielder when Pasquato is on. He is not typical winger who send a good cross which Del Neri utilize much from Lanza, DC, Motta, Pasquato. But yes, he actually has an eye for goal, he not show it on this match though...

I pretty much curious what will Del Neri do next to utilize him. I see him suitable as right midfielder or SS than as left midfielder while we already have Pasquato, Lanza, Pepe, Camo to play on the right. We really need to try Gio on the left or at least sign one winger who naturally play as left midfielder

nice goals and great confidence booster...as long as diego continues to play like that, i reckon del neri will have no choice but to start him.
