Pretty average display from Martinez IMO. I expected much more.

But our team plays much more lively when Diego plays, first half was dull.
Playing style? He used to pass little at catania and always go for the dribble although pretty slow, from what i've seen; which admittedly isn't that much.

We sucked in the first half and our weakness was noticeable. Not enough dynamic in the middle and we had no idea what to do with the ball. IMO Del Piero is slowing this team and it was painful to watch us play. It was dull football where we used wingers strictly in the middle, like they didn't have much freedom. Our fullbacks did nothing upfront and Grygera was weak yet again.

Everything changed in the second when Diego went in. We played with much more pace and looked lively. We attacked more through the middle but our wingers weren't involved much on the sides. With Trez and Diego it looks good though while Motta is a must, he added width and good balance in midfield and defense.

Jesus...all that for nothing :D

His style was bad - it was noticeable that his instructions were bad. He was stuck on the right a lot with some strict play, pretty much everything went on passing. Then he moved on the left and pretty much did the same job. Pretty average performances and that was not Martinez I know. He didn't really have offensive role, weird IMO.

Other than that, pitch was toooo small and stream was horrible. I can't wait to see us against HSV. That one should be decent.
