Come on, relax. Motivation plays a big part in this, and in this case you have a lower division team ready to pounce on a less motivated, slightly diluted Juventus team. It means the world to the locals if their team pulls off a result against a huge squad like Juventus, and the players know that so they put in that extra bit of effort. Hence, a close game. Capisce? :D

According to the Italian sports press, Giovinco is already worth a sizeable transfer fee.

Juventus should start him in all the remaining matches and give him even more oppotunity to reveal just how good he is capable of being.

Remember, many players have been snapped up at the age of 17 and 18. Kaka, Rooney and many, many others.

Michael , how Giovinco's performance was ?
he played in the second half only. He had very good control and good ideas, and had one great shot which was deflected by a defender and it just went out. He dribbled well against the defenders but they crowded around him so it was hard for him to get the ball in, but he still managed to give it to another Juve player everytime. In the whole second half he didn't give lose the ball when passing.

is it even remotely possible for us to play in serie A if we get this result agaisnt a serie C2 side. im crying
the first half team and the second half team were totally different, so it takes time to get used to each other. and the second half had mostly youth players like De Ceglie, Urbano, Bettega, Marchisio, Giovinco, Lanzafame; most of whom played with the senior team for the first time. Also both teams said the pitch was a bit heavy, so many players of both sides misjudged the bounce of the ball.
Juve didn't really take the match seriously. Del Piero and Giovinco were just doing moves to entertain the crowd, like step-overs. Also Zebina had a very good attacking game.

thanks mc.

apart from giovinco who else was out there i mean wh else played well from the youngesters?
Bettega didn't do badly in the match. Lanzafame scored one and helped set up the goal for Del Piero with some great skill. De Ceglie was played out of position cause with the primavera he plays as a left winger, but deschamps always plays him as a wing back
