It's not at all about doomsday talk, because to get a point across, you have to take it to the extreme sometimes. That's why Vinni occasionally goes as far as he does. Some people don't understand even the basic concepts of football here, so it's like one has to suicide bomb the forums to blast some sense into a select few.

There is no 'basic' concept of football other than winning. The fact that some people want to do it by harping about creativity, while others do it by harping about efficency is not important. The 'basic concept' of footbal is scoring more than the opposition, and i assure you,i dont think anyone on these forums has suggested that we can win a game ny not scoring a goal ourself and letting the opposition score 3.

The fact that people who slam the board and our signings think that they know more about the game than people who dont agree with their side of things does NOT make their knowledge of 'basic football' superior.

Vinman's take on Iaquinta and Sissoko was out there for everyone to see.His take on Poulsen will be out there for everyone to se too.His pessimism doesnt knock basic football knowledge into anyone. All it does is make him look silly when his argument against a player ends up falling flat.

good post mate! The football world is starting to get ridiculous in my opinion... Look at Milan, they were seriously starting petitions against Berlusconi, and now that he got them ronaldinho, he's their god again. And i see similarities with us; why can't the fans be fans? Hanging out banners against poulsen, that's just embarrassing in my opinion... What image are we giving to the world? A club in which fans are so narrow-minded they are revolting against a player like poulsen? How do you want to attract tomorrows ronaldinhos if we can't even show some respect to a poulsen... We're starting to look ridiculous, to be honest... and i'd ask everyone to take a deep breath and finally get into their minds that there are people in charge who know more about football and business then you do... It's undeniable, and there are no 'buts' and 'ifs', so get that into your heads already.

That's just how Vinni comes across. You fuck with me, vaffanculo and I'll smash your face through this car window, so cazzo di bocca. I personally like that in Vinni and I'm glad to have him as a fellow Juventino. Unban him.

Actually guys, you know what, we should start Amauri and Yack from day one because obviously they are damn good. It worked, and this is a friendly, so lets start them over those chumps Alex and Trez..

I am definitely sure that DP and Trez (at least) will be starting the official matches but guess what, friendlies are there to try and see if other combinations like Amauri-IQ work together and guess what good news for Juve fans, it seems it works.

Thank you, the friendly game has served ONE of its purposes. NEXT!

For as long as we have been members, Vinni and I have been correct in our concerns with our lack of ideas on the pitch, lack of a plan, and lack of creativity, so don't even think for a New York minute that we're just a bunch of fucking morons.
What is the evidence here? You yourself saying you have been correct?

No offense, LetsBrushYourTeeth, but you need to stop gloryfying the member "Vinman". I know he is your friend and all but let's be honest about his "soccer" knowledge.

You're making this too easy, Vinman.

Here are some quotes from last year, from our Newcastle and Sunderland pre-season games:

Vinman said:
I'm not so concerned about winning pre-season games as I am about how well we play in them, and frankly, we've sucked !!
pathetic...fucking PATHETIC !!!!
AngelaL said:
Relax Vinny! It was only a friendly. It's clear that we need more time to "gel" and that Newcastle was obviously further ahead in their preparations for their league, whose season starts before ours.
Vinman said:
Angie, its not about the loss...its about had badly we played

I knew when I was watching the game that the excuse "we are not match fit" and "they are farther ahead in their pre-season preparations" would be coming out of the mouths of Ranieri and some people here, but having difficulties with simple passing is not an excuse, and neither is the fact that we only had 2 shots on net the entire game (Neddy in the first half, Marchionni in the second)

We never looked tired, but our tactics became ridiculous...when did we become a long-ball team ?? When did we start trying to replicate the tactics of the EPL ??
When have we ever looked so lost in the final third of the field ??

Call it a coincidence, but we have a former EPL coach at the helm, who is average at best
So, have I gotten this straight?

When we play well our performance is meaningless. We suck and anyone praising our team is more or less an idiot.

When we play poorly it's a reason to panic and create drama, we suck and it's completely okay to insult and criticize.

Okay, why the fuck is Vinni banned?
In all honesty, even though I find Vinman very amusing for several reasons, this is justified. And the American gang shouldn't attack moderators whenever one of them gets banned. Just ask JCK in a civilised manner, I'm sure he has his reasons.
