The basic bookie is as follows´:

You will see a thread with three options (1, x, 2). You can choose one of these options exactly the same way you vote in a poll. There is another box where you can type in the amount of money you want to bet. After the event is over, someone closes the event giving the vBookie what is the winner and accordingly money will be given out. It's piss easy actually.
