He might be okay for one year as starter, then one year as back up, but I can't say that I think Juve signing Gallas would be a great move.

Not really great.

I'd sign him BUT there is no way I'd offer him some crazy wages. He'd be a very good back up but even for the first year I wouldn't count on him as a starter.

Him next to Chellini would form a pretty good defensive line to say the least and honeslty even if he refused to take a big pay-cut to see him getting 3-4m wouldn't be that bad IMO, after all its a bosman transfer and we could have splashed much more than that in the market on half of Bonucci's contract.

As a backup, Gallas would be a good addition...
If he does indeed arrive here I doubt he'll be used as a back-up :D

Backup? Please folks, Gallas would valce into our joke of a defense this year, and he could chose the position he wants to cover. He can be a fantastic pairing with Chiellini for next season. Year after that who knows? Either way Gallas for free would be a pretty sweet move.

Those who are saying he'd be a back-up are dreaming. No chance in hell he'd sign as a backup player.
