Giovinco's saga in the making? They want loan, we want co-own? Seriously? What the hell...

I know that the option to buy half would mean that Bologna play him more, but it makes so much more sense to do a Barça/Real Madrid type deal. Give them an option to buy all his contract, and put down an option to buy back the contract within two seasons after that.
I'd be happy with that. Co-ownerships are the most retarded thing in world's football.

Co-ownership is dumb.
Yes, i am sure Bologna managament will like his play and at the end of the season fully sign him. I don't understand club's moves like this one, he has potential, young, will play for his NT in near future and etc, why we should let him go..?

It we loan him, then Bologna will have lesser incentive to play him, cos they know he's going back next season. But if he's co-owned, then Bologna will have the possibility to keep him, so might give him more playing time, thus help his experience and growth. Not really a dumb move.

There's still no guarantee on how much playing time he'll get, co-owned or not.

THIS!

Bologna will look to make money out of him, he'll get 10 times the playing time he'll get here.

Meh that's pointless. If we loan him to Bologna, and he's actually good enough for us to ever want back, then he should be starting for them. Bologna fight every season to avoid relegation if he's any good they'll play him.

Co-owns are retarded.
