What does that have to do with Grygera's talent? Motta's a natural RB who has been playing that position his whole life. He still sucks. How is that an argument? "The guy played RB his whole life".

I've seen games where Grygera has touched the ball 2 or 3 times in the other team's half the entire match! He does nothing of impact. He just stands there in a stationary position the whole match hoping to avoid any confrontation or make any plays. He backs off guys by 20 yards because he can't run or tackle!
In a couple halves of Pepe at fullback I've seen him make sliding challenges at midfield from behind forwards or close guys down to the corner flag and strip the ball. I saw him stop Pato's gay step-overs 1 on 1. Plus, he's wayyyy better offensively.

The fact he played many times at RB makes him much more experienced and capable to play there than Pepe. Pepe just had few minutes in that position, so there is no way of saying he's better than Grygera.

lol @ sense of positioning. That's the ONLY thing any Grygera supporter has ever said. It's such a cop-out full of shit response. He's so limited that the only thing he can do is stay in line with our 2 CBs. He's never out of place because he doesn't even think about attacking! Not even attacking, but just getting up the field to receive a pass back from our RM.

Grygera was one player(amongst others) who I wanted out of the club this summer. He stayed and DN is getting the absolute best out of him. I don't think anyone can argue with that.
Easily our best full back so far this season. Both sides too.
Is he a great FB and something to build a defense around? Absolutely not, but he is playing very well recently I'd have to say he's much better at being a FB than Pepe right now.
