The first goal wasn't Sorensen's fault at all. Nobody closed down the player who sent in the through ball, and the rest of the defense was ball watching as the cross came in. Sorensen had to deal with the player outside of him and the Catania player running towards him with the ball a few yards away, plus he was holding his line with the other defenders.

The whole defense was ball watching and it was Marchisio who came all the back to pick up the scorer.

I wouldn't say he was blameless, but there were certainly others who made bigger mistakes in the lead up to the goal.
