The back pass wasn't really his fault - it was originally a shocking pass from one of the midfielders.

Your right but as a defender myself who has been in situations like that you have to be aware of whos around you and even though it was a suicide ball to him he still has to get rid of that ball or pass it back with more pace on it. Someone should of been talking to him or atleast Im hoping someone was because if he asnt being told "man on" we have serious issues in the back. But one thing ill take from that back pass is how much confidence he has in himself which is good.

Barzagli also helped him considerably, something Sorensen hasn't often had this season. Krasic offers zero in a defensive situation, so it was important Sorensen got tight and Barzagli could move across to help as Bonucci and Chiellini had Pazzini.
