Playing Sorensen ahead of Motta makes sense not only because he already seems to offer guarantees of solidity that the latter does not, but because with more experience, he can only get better. Besides, Krasic is more than capable of handling the right flank offensive duties on his own playing the way he does.

In games where Juve just need a defensive right back he should.
Motta really does bugger all in attack despite his reputation as an attacking right back, especially with Krasic in the side. He is also a terrible defensive right back so it makes sense to play Sorenson instead seeing as Motta brings virtually nothing to the table.

Delneri made the right decisions in this game regarding the right backs.

I like the look of Sorensen, strong personality. I like Scandinavians with personality, some are quite placid.

Hes getting confidence with every game he plays. I wont be surprised even if he goes to the final 3rd and puts in a cross :D

He's not good in possession though. The less he sees of the ball, the better.
Thats true for the game before this one, but he didnt do much possession mistakes this time around (atleast not more then others, we were skittish in second half and were clearing balls in overall as an indirect tactic), mostly decent, did one great one hit cross-over long pass to Marchisio that was impressed by in terms of passing. But mainly he kept it simple.

And seriously, I'm extremely impressed by him in the 2nd half. Really suprising gem. Hope he is given more time to keep it up.
