and it looks like comolli isn't our savior either. i'm giving him the benefit of the doubt, i don't entirely dislike his facts based approach, but not signing chico and picking sancho over him doesn't seem factual. our little dribble monkey is a potential game changer and all he needs is some coaching to make better decisions, while sancho already flopped hard at multiple bigger clubs and proved that he cannot handle heavy jerseys

I actually think we still want to buy him for the rumored €30M but probably don’t have anything signed to make Porto obliged to let him go for that sum other than a gentlemen’s agreement previously brokered via Mendes and Giuntoli from our side, so wouldn’t be surprised if Porto actually been getting a few other slightly better offers from elsewhere and are trying to force our hand to raise the offer too which we probably aren’t happy with.

I really doubt that even we can be this dumb, most likely something else is going on behind the scenes such as the scenario i mentioned in my previous post here, or otherwise it’s maybe just journos taking wild guesses because they have no idea what we’ve decided or at what stage our negotiations are at either.

You’re probably right that i shouldn’t doubt the management when it comes to potentially taking dumb decisions but another thing that is also often true after all this years is that we should sure doubt many of the journalists and their made up assumptions too.

Yes, the Sancho pursuit in my opinion is likely centred around them taking an unwanted player from us to inflate the books on each side.

If it has to be sancho then Utd need to pay us 20m plus sancho for luiz, and that's making a concession. Anything less and comolli needs hanging by his balls.

THE RELEASE CLAUSE OF #CONCEICAO COULD BE INCREASED TO €45M!
Porto has so far been firm with #Juventus that has for some time started to negotiate in order to turn the temporary deal into a permanent one. For #Conceiçao the demand is the figure present in his contract, the €30M release clause that has been officially activated on July 1st. No discount and so, there is a deadline imposed by the contract itself. Around mid July, the release clause will be increased by 50% and so it will reach €45M, 15 more than the current 30.
