The new board’s stance on Conceicao is uncertain. They will observe his performances at the Club World Cup and then decide

i think it should depend on who the manager is, more specifically does he use wingers? Because thats really the only position I see for him. I dont think hes good enough in the final third to be a second striker, and he doesn’t offer enough defensively to be a wingback.
Man, adapt your fucking system to fit in your best players! Tudor better finds a way, cause I don't want to see fucking Nico starting instead of Chico.

Yeah unless you have a tried & tested title winning system and a crazy budget you get your best players in (unless they're dickheads you want rid of)

Imagine avoiding using wingers just so we can cram in an extra shit midfielder or something

Chico was

It was largely because of him being subbed on that Portugal beat Germany for the first time in 25 years…. And in Germany.

I’m a Sportinguista, so I don’t mind me some Trincão. But when Chico subbed for him, the whole match pivoted.

Sink dat Bismarck, baby!

Even if we don't want to keep him sign him and immediately profit!

Even if at this stage selling him on would be dumb af because he's doing well - it's still better than letting Porto take the payday instead.
Correct. Just from that performance alone, he could have added another €10-15m on his actual value. So if we sign him for (all up) €40m and then on-sell for €55m+, it’s not a bad little profit.

Still prefer we just sign him and fucking play him tho. But that’s just me, breh.

What kind of manager "can't find a place" for a player who can beat his man with individual skill? Being able to create space by taking a defender out of the game is one of the most valuable skills there is.

Sign him.

When you say "beat his man with individual skill" do you mean besides the 95% times it failed during the season we just watched?

Look, I like him and I think he's got the "it" but it's harder to argue he didn't try to "beat his man with individual skill" literally EVERY TIME he had possession any moment he was on the pitch and like 95% (this might even be generous) of the time it failed spectacularly.

He needs proper coaching or he’ll end up just like Dybala and Chiesa. Same for Yildiz.

Del Piero and Robben had the skill to dribble, open the angle and curl it in. But that was complemented by a great eye for passing combinations, crossing, or a through ball.

They didn’t just chuck it over and over again at every chance. They had intelligence
