I don't really know what the agreements are with option. I assume there's a stronger binding with the player.

That's not true with obligation, and most loans end with an obligation.
But an option is usually an advantage over an obligation... Unless he plays like a superstar and Real Madrid / Manchester City or so wants him.

It goes up in the middle of July...if he's good we can pay that clause before. Also Di Natale reports his wages are 2.5mil € (which are included in the deal)

If we end up buying him this will look like 4.5mil loan + 2.5mil bonuses + 30mil "obligation" .

I say it's a good deal...
Source? That would be very strange.

At the end of the day...we really concerned about all this financial BS if the team churns out good performances or have a great win streak in CL and/or Serie A or if we win one of those titles? As a fan and human that impacts my life NiL. I just want to see us hopefully back to a standard so i dont waste my precious 2hrs every weekend amd midweek.
At the end of the day... It's night.

Can you all do me a favour, can you all check your bank account and just confirm that Giuntoli didn't spend your money

Thanks

:D
I don't care about the money. I just don't like getting excited for a playing and wishing him to do well when I know the better he does the more expensive he will be and less likely he will stay.

Following the last hours acceleration, Conceicao will be a new Juventus player. Agreement found with Porto for an expensive simple loan deal at €7M plus 2 bonus (the salary payment is expected to be included in the 7). The Portuguese is expected in Italy tomorrow. It is also done for Nico Gonzalez: he will join from Fiorentina for a total figure of €38M (33+5) between fixed part and bonus. They will try bring him to Turin today.

If it's true it's this from Mark's post:

SKY(not 100% sure it's real) says in the 7mil the wages are included.
if he does well we pay the 30mil clause.

The risk here is he fucks us and signs with another club because they offered more. A little risky.
I also read on twitter (Peddula or Di Natale maybe) we pay 7+2.5bonuses and they pay his salary

Ok so I’m confused by this clause in his contract. So in the month of July they can buy him for 30M? Otherwise it’s 45M? Huh? What?
If i understood correctly from what those guys wrote on twitter, 30mil€ clause is valid till 15th July and then it goes up to 45mil

Let's wait and see how he performs and then we can worry about the release clause

This is signing that could go both ways as he's not a certainty.

yeah and what’s stopping another club from activating it? I guess it’ll just come down to conceicao himself? Whatever, we can worry about that later lol.
I think if he adapts here and does well then he will have every interest to pick us if we do choose to activate the release clause, that’s not much of a worry at this stage, let’s just hope he does well for now and we should then most likely activate the release clause too, otherwise if he’s not worth it we’ll just move on and forget about the wasted loan fee from this year, but all in all it’s a gamble that we’ll take.

I don't mind this deal actually. Especially if the salary is included. 7mil with 2,5mil possible bonuses for 1 season is roughly one season's salary of Chiesa.
Lets say we get Sancho on a free loan, but have to cover his salary and have an option for 40mil at the end of the season. I'm sure it would be viewed favorably by most (from financial point anyway). But that would cost us ~13mil in Sancho's salary for 1 season. If he flops and we don't use the option, the free loan would still end up costing more.

Sure. It would be nice to have an exclusive option for Conceicao. But at this stage in the transfer market it's not a worst solution. How we got ourselves into this position is another discussion.
