I think we maybe being too harsh on secco. Young and inexperience, remember he was only doing pesso's job last season. Plus with all the problems going down i think he has done admirally.

Tho i assume DD's boumshake would have pushed the boat out, but everymanager is allowed a few "personal" preferences. Expect more french talent in the future...hopefully along the lines of Pedretti and Ribery.............

Be thankfull we do get Foti as he is a "rare" breed.
I was on the same page for a while, but the deals that he has made are somethimes very strange and even folilsh.. I mean you trade a great player like Mutu and get Bojinov on loan and with a chance to get the 50% of him next season?? does that sounds like a good deal to you? cause to me we got raped on that one.

And dont let me start with the french defender dude.

Trying living a with a Newcastle fan.....he thinks its the funniest thing since Delboy fell throught the bar.

Anyway, regarding secco, yes some of his deals have been , well innverse moggi esque, but to be fair we made a profit on Mutu and got in Boji on loan not all bad considring Mutu was a free. Plus the key factor is wages NEED to be cut to survive in serie b. What happens if we dont get out first time? We would be royally fcuked. The majority of cash we had would go on payin off wages that dont get covered within the serie b payments. Long term i think secco is doing ok, BUT i would much rather see Palla and co stay as cover than get boum/Cygan esque to cover the gaps in defence.

ok, I agree that bringing Bojinov on loan was a good move, logical move, but it would have been more logical to get a chance to buy 100% of him next season not just 50%... also remember that Mutu did state that he was willing to stay in B with Juve.

Also, the youngsters has been a very big issue to me, we bring a crap defender, and loan out a brigth young defender?

To be honest Secco hasnt make a deal that has impress me. I know he is still young and that he has to learn but, the problem is that we are in a very delicated situation.

Sir Alex Ferguson said it best, teams are all taking advantage of our downfall, its jus the matter of how and when.

Secco doesnt have the bargaining power to do much anyway, especially if we had to pay player MORE for a season in serie B.

The youngsters is hugely irritating but if it has to be done then so be it.

Boumsong is my rift, unfortunately i belive he was DD's choice, and as i have backed DD way back before Cappello took control, ill have to have faith...which that and our new triade, is all we have.
