Au contraire, Mutu should play in midfield, considering Del Piero doesnt have the pace to be on the wing, especially since you're referring to a 4-4-2, and most of the attack comes in from the wings. I think we could play Zlatan\Trez up front, with Mutu pulling strings in midfield.

Ideally though, 4-3-1-2 would be magical imo. Dp could be used as sub for Adrian. Switch Zambro to RB and give him a little more freedom to roam the right flank.

Buffon
Zambrotta...Thuram...Canna....Chivu
Essien...Emerson...Camoranesi
Mutu
Zlatan....Trez/Gila/Cassano
Yes,but Del Piero links up very well with Zambrotta who's arguably the fastest player we've got in the starting lineup.Mutu is an option, but I'd prefer him in the hole instead.

But on the other hand Henry wasn't the worlds greatest forward when he left Juventus (he probably wouldn't be if it wasn't for Wenger and Arsenal). He wasn't even a forward.

Del Piero as an attacking left winger, and Zlatan-Trez/Mutu in offense.

I hope Capello gets creative in the off season and experiments a little, there are alot of possibilities in this forward lineup.
what wud be the point of zlatan dp and mutu in the same team as none of them will ever be in the box, u need at least 1 proper striker

Zlatan - Trez

This definately for the next match, although I would like to see DP in the starting 11, then the match after try

Zlatan - Trez
-----Mutu----

with neddy playing the left flank.
