Since i cant post a poll I will be asking you which forward pair do you think is more suitable for our next 3 games. Since we will most likely follow our conservative 4-4-2 against Parma, independent of our midfield which pair would you like to see. Though Zlatan is more athletic and on form, I just dont see him pairing up with Trezeguet. So i think it would be better to start with Alex and Trez, with Ibra possibly coming in the second half.
Whaddya think?

Yeah, sure. Zlatan has been our best forward this season IMO, he has everything we need, creativity, flair and dribbling, he can score and he can assist. The Zlatan - Del Piero partnership has proven to be mostly ineffective simply because both players like to come back to the ball and roam around the box, non of them waiths in the box like trez does, and hence the midfield doesnt really have a centzral figure of the attack, which leads to overplaying and losing the ball. We need Trez to be be the aim of the balls, to wait in the box and be ready for whatever he might get.

The question remains how much of a support striker Zlatan wants to be, btw i agree on your assessment of Zlatan's season, but the combo Trez-Del Piero is certainly more proven this season and beyond.

Maybe, but I think it would be folish to bench our best forward this season. The thing with Zlatan is that he assist as much as he scores, and we need that. IMO Capello feels that way too, we all know that Zlatan will play next match, the only question is who will partner him.

Jus think of what the great zlatan needs....

    -A clinical partner.
    -a partner with great movement.
A partner with great pace and skill

Think of what henry could ideally do with.
-Someone he can pass and move with
-Someone who is a strong holder of the ball.
Someone who is talented in the air (tall).

Imagine a Zlatan-Henry partnership..........sexy deadly football at ur service.

Would like to see them play. What a force. Sadly really unrealistic :)

Del Piero as an attacking left winger, and Zlatan-Trez/Mutu in offense.

I hope Capello gets creative in the off season and experiments a little, there are alot of possibilities in this forward lineup.

Au contraire, Mutu should play in midfield, considering Del Piero doesnt have the pace to be on the wing, especially since you're referring to a 4-4-2, and most of the attack comes in from the wings. I think we could play Zlatan\Trez up front, with Mutu pulling strings in midfield.

Ideally though, 4-3-1-2 would be magical imo. Dp could be used as sub for Adrian. Switch Zambro to RB and give him a little more freedom to roam the right flank.

    Buffon
    Zambrotta...Thuram...Canna....Chivu
    Essien...Emerson...Camoranesi
    Mutu
    Zlatan....Trez/Gila/Cassano

If Juve would not have been that stupid, they could have had Zlatan and Henry now. Sadly, Henry went away for the price of a BigMac menu at MacDonalds.

As the topic concerned, it depends on the Camoranesi situation. If he is injured, let Trez-Dp and Zlatan play, if not, Capello should stik with Trez and DP, but sub Zlatan in the second half!
