The only hope is for Ferrari & Lotus on 2 stop pits.

Otherwise it would take a monumental fuckup for Mercedes to lose this.

:D

Well, it is Monaco. But I don't think they'll lose this after the previous 2 races, and this is their best chance yet. Hamilton will just slow down the rest on purpose. Probably wants to return the favour to Rosberg for Malaysia too.

Interesting stuff

As much as I like Monaco, those races tend to be boring as hell.

Vettel's whip. Most race car drivers tend to have slower cars compared to other celebrities. Shows how they care more about driving dynamics and comfort. Respect.

I'm pretty sure Rosberg broke Schumi's lap record, Rosberg was like 1.13.9 and record is/was 1.14.3

The reason why it gets faster is because of downforce. On the longer tracks with bigger straights the V10s (esp in 2004 with ABS and TC) had an advantage due to more power and less downforce (better for acc), but in Monaco power doesn't matter as much and extreme downforce setting is used, which makes up the difference for lack of power.

also Red Bull is sponsored by Infiniti if you didn't know.

I wonder how much faster they can keep getting though. I feel like they're already at the top of the spectrum as far as lap times go.

Yeah, forgot about infinity :p

But he could've gotten a souped up G37 or something instead of a diesel 30.

Most lap records are from Schumi in 2004 I think. They aren't getting faster, that's for sure. Even slower next year too, with V6s.

He probably just drives whatever they give him. It's not like he chooses and they ship the car around the world, just a demo from a dealership probably.
