Up until his death it was pretty much a one sided battle and throughout that entire season the Williams he drove didn't reach any potential.

Senna >>>> Schumacher

Schumacher even said it himself that Senna was the best ever. Michael was lucky he was driving by far the best car for five of his championships. Now he's getting schooled by Rosberg so the myth about him the greatest ever is busted big time.

Schumacher is in his forties, the fact that he is still driving to a reasonable standard in formula one proves his ability. Plus he has driven some good races this season and been unlucky with a few bumps.

Although I do believe that Senna was the best driver.

Put any of Alonso, Hamilton, Vettel in the Ferrari of 2000-2004 and they would all win five in a row. Schumacher is great but Senna is better and from the new guys I think that Alonso is better and Hamilton maybe.

Well, credit due were credit is granted, Schumi definatley helped improve Ferrari, in the pre Schumi time (Berger and Alesi time), Ferrari wasn't able to challenge for the title.
Of course, the financial power and the fact that the best ingenieurs were given to help him, made it a lot easier for him.
But out of the two, Senna, without a doubt

Senna's a legend but Schumi would've probably overtaken him title wise anyways since he was younger and had talent in spades. It's one of those things that you can't tell for sure.

The best now has gotta be Vettel, he just looses it sometimes.

Hamilton doesn't seem to learn from his mistakes. Such a careless driver, putting his car in some stupid positions. Yesterday's nearly incident with Massa could have the same results as today's.

Vettel's domination of the sport is admirable, good for him to win the championship so soon.
