Formation for new season (1 Viewer)

Just a thought. What would Lippi and Moggi have to do if we decided to play a 4-3-3 next season. With transfers soon to begin I thought it would be interesting to hear your ideas about this. Would it be a good idea to go with this formation or something else? Our thoughts please.

i would like to stick with the 4-4-2 but playing with a playmaker in the team.

so, keeping tacchinardi and davids as they play now, except having nedved and maybe a deco/aimar attacking from the right behind the strikers.

so, a line up like this:

so its a 4-4-2, in a 4-2-2-2- type of thing i guess.

I can't see a 4-3-3 coming off at the moment mainly because we have Nedved. Without Neddy, we could easily play a three man midfield of Zambro-Tacchi-Davids and a front three of Miccoli-DP-Treze, but selling Pavel is out of the question.

I say that we should stick to our 4-3-1-2/4-4-2 formation. All we need is a CB or two, a LB and a backup for Nedved (Deco, Pizarro, D'Ale are all good choices) and we're set.

Why can't Nedved be one of the 3 mdfielders? I mean would placing nedved with zambrotta and davids cause some kind of unbalance in midfield and team. And one other thing if I had my choice I would try not to start Trez, sorryif I have offended anyone, after this year adn not a big fan of him (even if he scores more goals then he ever did next season).

i don't like zambo in WB or LB (even he able to handle it) ..he is more dangerous in MID....

the phoenix........the problem with having Nedved, Davids and zambrotta as those 3 midfielders is the fact that Tacchinardi is missing. He is our anchor man and kind connects play from our defence to midfield. Davids isnt that type of player, he is more offensive orientated so to speak......BUT, why cant we play this if you like that formation.

in a diamond shape midfield, basically having nedved on teh right of thet diamond. And we could use Zambrotta at left back still and either use miccoli along with DP and TRez, or even have a player like Deco or another playmaker behind DP and TRez.

i dont see why that cannot work.

Since we donrt have a half-decent left back (not counting Zambi) I think we should switch to tactic with 3 defenders. Ferrara, Tudor and Thuram could play in defence, Neddy on the left, Zambi on the right, Davids and Tacchi in the middle, Deco behind Alex and Treze.
