i think people under-estimate sol campbell. what juve lacks most is a strong tall quality defender. we have an injury prone tudor and an average defender in legrottaglie. campbell at least offers something in that department.

i just feel that maybe both campbell and cannavaro should be outta the picture. we'll have oddo, who is 27 years old, thuram 32 years old, cannavaro (31)/Campbell (30) and zambrotta 27. have we really freshened up our defence?

i remember capello saying that he wanted to build a team for the future at juve. somewho only older players a re being looked and our best young players are leaving.

sol, is very similar to stam,but much quicker than u think, he is a top draw defender, from the upmost echelons of world wide defenders, he would stamp authority on our defence, but , and a big but, he will cost an arm and a leg, and we would still lack the pacey defender which we needed.......

soif we are still shite in defence, i will email moggi saying told u so.

Both Cannavaro and Campbell are world-class centre backs so I don't really care which one we get, as long as we get one of them. Another good option is Ujfalusi.
